CANCELLATION POLICY:

RESERVATIONS

 

RATES

Rates are not valid during blackout dates. These rates are net rates and are calculated on a nightly basis. These rates are for single and double occupancy in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes will be added to these rates when number of nights are less than 31 nights. Taxes may vary in accordance with provincial and municipal regulations.

 

All other services are subjected to applicable taxes, such as mandatory exit cleaning and parking fees.

 

PAYMENT

 

All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars including prices shown in our brochure or on our website. Guest(s) agree to pay the rental of the Apartment/s for the duration of the Reservation Contract and any/all applicable fees for additional services requested by the Guest(s). Payment can be made by certified check, bank draft drawn on a Canadian bank, wire transfer, or by credit card (MasterCard, VISA or AMEX). Guest(s) are required to complete and return a Credit Card Authorization form and will be asked to complete a Digital Identity with the online Aver, a company with the highest level of compliance in regulations and data security.(A Corporate Guarantee cans also be presented before their reservation is confirmed.) For the duration of the reservation and any extension of it, the Guest(s) agrees to pay fees for the rental of the Apartment and any additional chargeable services utilized. If a Corporate Guarantee (refer to the Corporate Guarantee for particulars) is arranged on behalf of the Guest(s), the person or entity named will be liable to pay all fees indicated and the Guest(s) will be responsible for paying all other fees, if any.  Unless otherwise arranged or agreed, any balances owing will be charged to the credit card account on file without further notice. A Security Deposit of $500.00 will be held for the duration of the stay and returned to the Guest(s) not exceeding 7 working days after departure date.

 

The first month of all new reservations must be paid in full prior to check-in.  Any reservation for longer than one month will be charged on a 30-day basis (each monthly payment is due in 30-day increments from the original rental payment due date).  We reserve the right to terminate any reservation if payment does not reach us within 3 days following the monthly due date. A late payment fee of 5% will be charged on a monthly basis.

 

 

LIABILITY & INSURANCE

The Guest(s) agree to indemnify Prestige Flats against loss, injury, damage, cost, action or cause of action of any nature whatsoever caused by any of the Guest(s), Permitted Occupant(s) or of any person they invite into the Apartment. Prestige Flats is not liable in any way for any lost, damaged or stolen items of the Guest(s) used or contained in the Apartment during the Guest(s) stay or left in the Apartment once the Guest(s) has vacated. The Guest(s) hereby releases, remises, and forever discharges Prestige Flats, its Officers, Directors, Managers, Employees, Agents and Contractors, from any and all liability, injury, loss and damages, including personal injury and death that may arise from or in relation to the Guest(s) exclusive possession of the Apartment and use the Apartment until the Departure Date, whenever or however they occur.

 

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

The Guest(s) are requested to vacate the apartment at 11:00 A.M. and arriving guests to check-in at 4:00 P.M. Early/Late check in is possible upon availability and subject to early/late check out is subject to an extra fee. (contact your Corporate Housing Specialist for more information). Changes required by the Guest(s) on the departure and arrival time must be reported to Prestige Flats for confirmation of availability. Upon request, prior arrangements can be made for return or pick up after business hours, weekends and holidays.

 

If there is any delay in vacating the apartment beyond the agreed time, a full day’s rental, calculated at the nightly rate will be charged to the Guest(s).

 

All apartment keys, parking passes, and remotes must be returned upon check-out to one of our Prestige Flats offices, or in our Prestige Flats drop-boxes. Lost or missing keys will incur an additional charge.

 

CLEANING SERVICES

Cleaning services are available upon request at an extra cost. Please contact our Concierge team for more additional services.

Guest(s) are responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and condition of the interior of the apartments. Upon departure, Guest(s) are expected to leave the Apartment in the same condition that was provided at arrival or be billed for additional cleaning costs associated with the state of the apartment.

Any damage caused by guests will incur a charge that will be added to your account to cover the cost of repairs.

 

RESERVATION CHANGES

Acceptance of changes in check-in dates, are subject to availability, and remains at the sole discretion of Prestige Flats and may be viewed as a cancellation. Early check-out dates require a fourteen (14) days notice or will be subject to a cancellation fee. For early termination of reservation, rates will be adjusted based on length of stay and Guest(s) will be responsible to pay the difference between the rates, if applicable. Prestige Flats guarantees location and apartment types only.

Each destination and buildings might have policies that supersede the above. See the “Policies” section of each building for more information.

 

CANCELLATION 

 

As of March 16, 2020, all new reservations made between March 16th-April 14th, 2020 are fully refundable. Cancellation notice must be given 72 hours prior to arrival date.

 

As of April 15, 2020, all new cancellations made within less than 30 days of your scheduled stay will be refunded in credits to be applied to future stays at our properties.

 

*Credits can be used towards future reservations in any Signature Collection location within 1 year since the effective date of cancellation.

 

Prestige Flats must be notified in writing for any reservation cancellation. There will be a thirty (30) days penalty for any cancellations given without said notice.

Each destination and buildings might have policies that supersede the above. See the “Policies” section of each building for more information.

 

TERMINATION OF RESERVATION CONTRACT

Prestige Flats has the right to terminate a reservation at any time on the grounds of abuse to staff or other guests, mistreatment of the apartment or criminal activity on the part of those occupying the apartment or their guests. In such circumstances, Prestige Flats is not obliged to provide or locate alternative accommodation. The period of notice and the refund applicable are entirely at the discretion of Prestige Flats.

 

 

RULES & REGULATIONS

Guest(s) and all other occupants acknowledge and agree to comply with By-Laws and Rules & Regulations of the building and/or condominium association during the term of the contract, failing to do so, Prestige Flats. has the right to terminate the contract for misconduct without a refund. Guest(s) and all other occupants must keep their personal belongings inside the Apartment (bicycles, shoes, doormats, carriages, umbrellas, etc. are not permitted to be left in the hallways or passageways).

 

Guest Registration

Guests are required to inform Prestige Flats of the number of people staying in the apartment (adults and children). Some of our building will require formal registration with the building management office.

 

Pet Registration

Pets are only allowed where prior permission has been granted and the fee paid. Not all of our properties are pet friendly, please ask the booking agent prior to reservation. In the event of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, Prestige Flats at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.

 

Smoking

Prestige Flats offers a smoke-free environment for all our guests. Any smoking activity in the apartment or in prohibited common areas will be subject to an automatic $500 penalty.

 

Behavior

Our guests are expected to behave in a manner that will not cause a disturbance to or interference with the quiet enjoyment of other residents of the building.

While Prestige Flats will strive to maintain accuracy and to verify details, Prestige Flats cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions that may arise.

Prestige Flats also reserves the right to modify information published on the site at any time including rates, descriptions and photographs. Prestige Flats offers makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any product or service advertised on its website.

Prestige Flats reserves the right to update any of its terms and conditions at any time, as may be required by the company’s business policies. Emphasis is placed on all parties using the site, to undertake adequate measures to ensure that they have thoroughly read the terms and conditions. By agreeing to use this site, it is implied that any such changes are accepted by any such third party and that any such third party agrees to comply with any such changes.

These terms do not affect consumer statutory rights.
